Level Switch for Solids | PFG86C

The PFG86C rotary paddle level indicator has been discontinued and is replaced by the PFG05C, a technical evolution designed by CAMLogic to ensure greater versatility, high performance, and operational continuity in industrial applications.

The PFG05C model represents a significant upgrade over the previous PFG86C, introducing a wide range of customisations and technical improvements:

Flexible electrical connections: choice of Faston terminals (standard), spring-clamp, or screw terminals to adapt to any wiring requirement.
Wide selection of electrical options:
- Voltage control: alarm signalling in the event of power supply failure.
- Rotation control: continuous monitoring of shaft movement via a pulse signal.
- Double contact: option to integrate a second SPDT signal contact.
Low temperature option: extends the operating range down to with a smart, self-regulating internal heater.
M12 circular connector: for quick, safe, and reliable connection (available for power supply up to 48V AC).
Updated certifications and directives: compliant with ATEX and IECEx directives for explosive dust zones (Zone 20/21, and Zone 22 for versions with pilot light).
Total mechanical compatibility and interchangeability: retains full compatibility with the previous PFG86C. The threaded process connection maintains the G 2" 1/2 standard, and the flanged version retains identical dimensions and drilling pattern (ø203 mm flange with 6 ø7,5 holes on a ø178 mm pitch circle diameter), ensuring immediate replacement without system modifications.

Thanks to its greater modularity and advanced control options, the PFG05C sensor offers superior reliability and reduced maintenance compared to the PFG86C model, enabling integrated protection even in complex industrial environments.

Switching from PFG86C to PFG05C provides higher performance, advanced system diagnostics, and maximum operational continuity.

The PFG05C model is recommended for all new installations, while technical support and dedicated assistance remain available for those who still own a PFG86C.
