On October 14th, we experienced something new, profound, and deeply emotional: a social team building day at Casa Gioia, in the heart of Reggio Emilia.
It was a day entirely dedicated to collaboration, mutual support, and sharing, which allowed us to get to know each other better outside the work environment, combining professionalism and humanity.
We were warmly welcomed into a multifunctional center offering various services for children and young people with cognitive disabilities. Throughout the day, we enthusiastically took part in unusual activities for us, such as renovating some outdoor areas and doing gardening work. These tasks turned out to be not only constructive but also fun and rewarding, reminding us that by joining our efforts, even activities far removed from our daily work can be approached with enthusiasm and team spirit.
The most emotional moment of the day came when we observed and joined in some of the center’s daily activities. We had the opportunity to witness up close the work done with children with cognitive disabilities — an experience that moved us deeply and left a lasting impression on everyone. Seeing the patience, dedication, and joy of the Casa Gioia staff, as they accompanied the children through small everyday gestures, made us reflect on the importance of listening, time devoted, and empathy.
It was an encounter that broadened our perspective, reminding us that behind every growth journey lies a world of sensitivity, commitment, and genuine love.
We also tried the Zerobody Dry Float and the Laughter Yoga session, rediscovering how important it is to take care of our own mental and emotional well-being. Work should not always be the only priority — there must also be moments to recharge, restore balance, and nurture our human side.
Lunch and the final break were moments of lightness, laughter, and sharing — valuable occasions to strengthen bonds that sometimes fade in the daily routine.
It was a pleasant, intense, and deeply fulfilling experience that allowed us to strengthen our team spirit and unite our energy for a cause of great human value, while rediscovering the importance of feeling good together.
Our experience at Casa Gioia was also featured in the local press, with articles published in The Dot Cultura, Reggio Report and in the Gazzetta di Reggio on October 27, 2025.
All these articles highlighted the human and social value of the initiative and the shared commitment between CAMLogic employees and the center’s staff. They described this day as a true example of collaboration, inclusion, and social awareness, where teamwork met community engagement.
As Stefania Azzali, President of Casa Gioia, stated: “These were emotional moments for everyone. This is what inclusion means: the outside world entered our center, allowing us to raise awareness about autism and disability.”
